MERCYWORKS HISTORY

Founded in 1997, MercyWorks is a relief and development ministry within Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
|
MercyWorks was primarily started to provide relief assistance to people around the world in times of crisis. Subsequently, assisting with development projects with long-term benefits in communities is an ongoing facet of the ministry.

MercyWorks' relief efforts consist of at least of one of the following: medical care, feeding programs, construction projects, trauma counseling, or working with children in crisis situations. Relief projects coordinated by MercyWorks have taken place in the following locations: Sri Lanka, Sudan, Pakistan, Uganda, Bangladesh, Honduras, Kosovo/Albania, Mongolia, India, Turkey, Bulgaria, El Salvador, and the United States—New Orleans, Gulfport, and New York City.
